Welcome to Majestyk Bernese Mountain Dogs home on the web! My name is Karen Jacobs, I reside in Southeast, MI and have been involved in Bernese Mountain Dogs since 2001. I am a member in good standing of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, the Heart of Michigan Bernese Mountain Dog Club, and Therapy Dogs Incorporated. I compete with my dogs in AKC Conformation and Rally, and have dabbled in Obedience, Agility, and Draft. While my dogs enjoy showing off in the competition ring, they really shine in their work as Therapy Dogs bringing joy and smiles to those they work with.
I am passionate about the Bernese Mountain Dog and a better future for this wonderful breed is a vision I hold close to my heart. Majestyk Bernese Mountain Dogs are bred for health, temperament, and breed type. Our dogs have their hips and elbows evaluated by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) as well as eyes and heart. All dogs are registered in the Berner Garde database. Occasional breedings are carefully planned with puppies sold to approved homes on non-breeding contracts only.
